INTODUCTION
Sarna is a minority religion of tribal prevailing mainly in the states of Jharkhand,India. Mother Nature is worshiped by followers. Idol worship is discouraged. Specail honor are given to Karam & Sakhua (Sal) trees as these are utilized since pre- historic period for food & shelters. Oraon, Munda, Kharia, Ho, Santhal etc are the tribal communities who are adhering to this Sarna religion. |
